I hope you all know me I'm Bloggerdiksha. So today I'm going to share my my view on Indian food and its value in different areas of our country.
An Indian food as the name suggest is incredibly diverse, reflecting the country’s vast geography, rich history and cultural variations. Mainly an Indian food can be different on the basis of some variations as showing under :
Regional variation
- North Indian cuisine : well known for its rich and creamy dishes, includes different kinds of Pranthas, Paneer tikka, Butter chicken etc.
- South Indian Cuisine is characterized by its use of coconut, curry leaves includes Dosa ,Idli ,Sambar and various seafood dishes.
- West Indian Cuisine includes the spicy and tangy flavors of Gujrat , Maharashtra, and Rajasthan. Dishes like Dhokla, Pav Bhaji, Dal Baati Churma.
- East Indian Cuisines are well known for its sweets like Rasgulla, Sandesh and dishes like Fish Curry. Use of Rice staples across the country, particularly in the South and East.
Staples
- Wheat is used more in North and West, especially for making Roti, Naan.
- Lentils are also main ingredient for making various other dishes as an Indian Food.
- Rice a staple across the country, particularly in the south and east used many dishes as it it main ingredient for some traditional dishes.
Spices and Herbs
So as its name describe Indian Cuisines are well known for its Spices to be used in dishes includes turmeric, Coriander, mustard seeds, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon. But fact about these spices are they are freshly crushed and prepared for using into the dishes that tastes so well.
Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian Food
Indian Cuisine is also differentiate between Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian Food. A significant portion of Indian Food is vegetarian featuring dishes like Palak paneer, Chole, and aloo Gobi. On the other hand, Non Veg food includes Meat, and seafood dishes such as Chicken Masala , Chicken Biryani, Fish Amritsari Etc.
Street Foods
In This Time Street food becomes the vibrant part of Indian food. There are various street foods which are also famous for there different flavors offering dishes like Pani Puri. Samosa, Chaat, Vada Pav etc. One can also include Indian Sweets and Beverages in Indian Food.
The diversity of Indian Cuisine makes it one of the most loved and flavorful cuisines in the world, with each dish offering a delightful and unique taste experience.
