Nagarkot Hill Station
In east of Kathmandu, Nagarkot is a hidden gem for the tourist who love nature. The Nagarkot Panoramic Hiking trail is a 12 Km long hike which is famous for rewarding views of the Himalayas, countryside villages and farms. The village sits at an altitude of approx. 2175 meters, providing an ideal vantage point for sunrise and sunset views.Some people choose to walk there as well to explore the nature. In addition to this the sight of the sun rising behind the majestic mountains, painting the blue sky leaves the tourist like us in awe. I think one can have best view here for photography and making beautiful nature videos could be best option to do with your friends & family.
The peaceful environment of Nagarkot is perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. The whole town is surrounded by dense forest of pine trees and offers a tranquil retreat away from noise and pollution of the urban areas.
Nagarkot is paradise for outdoor activities like hiking trails that wind through the forest and villages. It offers you stunning view of nature and a chance to explore the local culture. Mountain biking is another exciting way to explore the area which can be challenging fro some as there is no such established place to do so.
I think best time to visit Nagarkot is during autumn and spring because of pleasant weather and skies are generally clear but the monsoon season can bring the view of rains as well.
This was my best trip when I had chance to go and see these views with my naked eyes.
